bio: Since Pomeroy's formation in the Spring of 1998, the five piece crew from Manhattan, KS has made great strides. After releasing their debut album, Inside the Shine, in April of 1999, the band has gone on to tour eleven states regionally and distribute over 5,000 copies of the album.

(As of October 2000) Currently the band resides in Omaha Nebraska where they are working on their first major release. The new album will feature 13 tracks, 9 of which are new. The remaining 4 will be new versions of Inside the Shine songs: My Paradise, Rebound, Bodies in Tune, and Roboflow.

Pomeroy has been seen throughout the midwest with such acts as The Urge, 2 Skinee J's, Kottonmouth Kings, Phunk Junkeez, and Pato Banton and the Reggae Revolution. They also played the main stage at Spiritfest in Kansas City and headlined the second stage at this year's K-Rock, and Sweet 98's Sweetstock Festival's in Omaha.

For their success, Pomeroy has Kansas to Thank: As unlikely as it may seem, it's the wheat state that's responsible for producing the fivepiece crew. Coincidentally, it's the sparsely scattered cities in Kansas that still serve as a main part of Pomeroy's life-line. Cities like Pittsburg, Hays, Salina, Lawrence, Wichita, Kansas City, and of course the band's hometown of Manhattan all serve up thick crowds of anywhere from 300 to 900 people. Other Pomeroy hot spots include Omaha, Denver, Colorado Springs, St. Louis, and countless pockets throughout the Midwest.

Currently the band's efforts are solely on the task of completing their next project. Hopeful projections say the release date could be shortly after the first of the year. However, the album will not be released until it's 100 percent ready. Together, Pomeroy and Get Go! have set out to do something big... and the anticipation is growing.
